International corporate travel services company Hogg Robinson Group (HRG) has launched an innovative ground transportation solution. HRG Ground Transportation™ is the first fully integrated service available in the industry and enables businesses to incorporate their ground transportation requirements into corporate travel programmes to deliver real savings in cost, time and resources.
Managing ground transportation can be both complex and time consuming. Companies are becoming increasingly aware of the lack of policy and data control they have over this area of spend and are recognising the benefits associated with effective management.
HRG Ground Transportation TM has been designed specifically for HRG in association with specialist solutions provider GroundScope. The service enables all taxi, chauffeur cars and limousine bookings to be made at the same time as those for air travel and hotel accommodation, providing full visibility of spend and compliance to travel policy. In addition, the service is fully integrated with Global Distribution Systems (GDS), so ground transportation bookings are automatically updated if any amendments are made to other aspects of the travel arrangements, saving both time and money. The solution will initially roll-out across the UK with other European markets following later this year.
