HRG Consulting, the consulting division of international corporate travel services company Hogg Robinson Group (HRG), has announced the appointment of Jennifer Mundle as Principal Consultant, further strengthening its senior management expertise in this independent and specialist area.
With over 19 years industry experience and specialising in project management and hotel negotiations, Jennifer will be based at HRG’s London office, reporting to Mike Orchard, Head of Client Consulting. She will position, run and project manage hotel RFPs and negotiations on behalf of clients – an area of increasing importance to both multinational and national companies. In the last 12 months alone, HRG Consulting has negotiated in excess of 20,000 individual hotel rates for over 40 clients, using the knowledge of its highly trained consultants to offer advice on best practice hotel deal negotiation and rate expectations.

HRG Consulting offers end to end management of the complete RFP process from project management, supplier negotiations and benchmarking, through to support in the final selection. A 10-step process has been developed and employed to secure ‘best in class’ supplier programmes for its clients. In many cases, clients that have followed the HRG Consulting 10-step methodology and used its technology resource and expertise have achieved incremental savings of between 3% and 15%.
